Business cannot pay to be listed at www.askaround.ca; nor can they list themselves (we spot these quickly) This can be hard on a new business owner wanting to collect recommendations from happy customers, so here are some suggestions to get you started.
- Take a deep breath and ask every customer to post a listing at Ask Around. You can do this! You are proud of the great service you offer. Tell them about Ask Around and ask for a recommendation!
- If you are still tongue tied contact me about an Ask Around business membership. This won't get you listed on the site immediately but I will send you Ask Around invitations for your first customers. These simple mailers work well and may be all you need. Present them at the end of a job as a "Thank you for your Business" gesture. Your customers get extra free visits at Ask Around and you get recommendations.
- Print, stamp or write the following magic formula on your invoices and receipts:
We want you to be delighted with our service.
If you are happy with our work please tell your friends
and recommend us at www.askaround.ca
If you are not pleased with the work we have done for you, please tell us. Phone xxx xxx xxxx
