I built Ask Around to reflect my passion for craftsmanship and good service. Our old house here in Ottawa needs endless maintenance, and many jobs don't even get started because the search for tradespeople is so frustrating.

But then, when I do find a really good tradesman or business I just love passing on the details. Its a great feeling to give a referral for a local business, and at the same time do a good turn by pointing a neighbour or friend in the right direction.
